Oregon Cultural Trust

TCAN is grateful for support from the Oregon Cultural Trust to keep our website up-to-date and online, and we encourage everyone to support the efforts of Oregon’s visionary organization to build a durable fund to keep arts and culture alive in our State for generations to follow.

The Cultural Trust is a statewide program that is raising significant new funds to invest into Oregon’s arts, humanities and heritage assets. In addition to the creation of a long-term, protected endowment, funds will be distributed each year to partner organizations, county and tribal cultural coalitions and competitive grant applicants. Donations to the Cultural Trust are eligible for an innovative tax credit.

Donors to the Cultural Trust are eligible for a 100% tax credit for contributions of up to $500 for individuals ($1,000 for couples filing jointly) and $2,500 for corporations. Because one of the Cultural Trust’s goals is to motivate Oregonians to increase direct giving to cultural groups, in order to qualify for the credit, a donor must have also made matching gifts to one or more cultural nonprofits in Oregon during the same tax year. For additional information or to donate online, visit www.culturaltrust.org.

The Tillamook County Cultural Coalition (TCCC) is a committee of 8-10 members at large, representing north, central and south Tillamook County whose main responsibility is to distribute Community Cultural Participation Grant program funds from the Oregon Cultural Trust.

Any individual, non-profit organization, or local government agency is eligible to apply. An individual must be a resident of Tillamook County, and organizations must maintain a registered headquarters in Tillamook County.

Grant requests are considered and awarded once each year in January. For more information about grant guidelines and deadlines, go to: www.tcpm.org/tccc.htm
