Sitka Center for Art and Ecology seeks Program Manager, a full-time position beginning December 2006.

The Program Manager assists Sitka Center for Art and Ecology in the fulfillment of its mission: To expand the relationships between art, nature and humanity through workshops, presentations, and individual research projects, and to maintain a facility appropriate to its needs that is in harmony with the inspirational coastal environment of Cascade Head.

The Program Manager reports to the Executive Director and works with staff, artists, volunteers, donors, and community members. In general, the Program Manager will:

--Oversee the design, marketing, promotion, delivery, and quality of workshop and residency programs, products, and services.
--Nurture and expand artist, partner and instructor relationships related to programs.
--Maintain the strengths of current program offerings while working to deepen quality and broaden participation.
--Work to strengthen the organization's role in ecology, including building on previous ecoprojects.
--Manage and maintain the Sitka Center facility as the primary location of programs.
--Develop program-related funds, including membership, grants, and earned income.

Application receipt deadline is November 1, 2006, 4 p.m. Primary place of work: Sitka Center for Art and Ecology on the mid-Oregon coast, at Cascade head, five miles north of Lincoln City.
